Hadiths of Surah Yaseen

There’s a blessing in every Surah that we may not know. We can’t imagine the countless blessings and rewards Yaseen Shareef can bring to us. We need to recite this Surah a lot. Some of the Hadiths about Yaseen Shareef are;

  • “Everything has a heart, and the heart of the Quran is Surah Yasin; whoever reads it, it is as if he has read the Quran ten times.”
  • “Whoever enters the graveyard and reads Surah Yasin, their punishment will be reduced that day, and he will have Hasanaat (reward) equal to the number of people in the graveyard.”
  • “Those who read Surah Yasin seeking Allah’s pleasure, his past sins will be forgiven. So recite it over the dying among you.”

Subhan Allah! Such is the importance, and Surah Ya-Sin represents the glory of Allah, guidance, and mercy.

Benefits of Surah Yaseen

There are many benefits of reciting the Holy Quran and the following are some of the benefits of reciting Surah Yasin daily.

1- The Heart of the Qur’an

Our Prophet Muhammad said:

   “Undoubtedly, there is at least a little kindness in everything, and the core of the Qur’an is Surah Yasin. I want it to be in the heart of every follower of my Ummah.”

This hadith shows the importance of reading Surah Yasin, some of which is the heart of the Qur’an. And our Prophet exhorts us to read it. Surah Yaseen brings peace and tranquility to whoever recites it. Reciting Surah Yasin will give you a lot of rewards. Therefore, from this hadith, we know the importance of this surah and that it is the main part of the Qur’an, the recitation of which gives us many rewards.

2- By Reading Surah Yasin, Our Sins are Erased

Another thing that our Prophet (peace be upon him) taught us about reciting Surah Yasin we see in the following hadith:

“Whoever debates Surah Yasin in the evening seeking Allah’s confirmation, Allah will forgive him.”

Reciting Surah Yasin in the middle of the night and asking Allah for help and seeking forgiveness and mercy, Allah will answer our call and reward us. More importantly, recite Surah Yasin with the belief that Allah will help us.

In general, reciting the Qur’an calms the mind and gives us peace. Imagine how you would feel after reciting Surah Yasin with full confidence that Allah will forgive you. You will get total peace of mind.

So, whatever you do and whatever mistake or sin you commit, just keep asking Allah’s forgiveness and try your best to avoid repeating the same mistake. Allah will forgive, have faith.

3- The Reward of Reading Surah Yaseen

Another hadith describes the reward of reciting Surah Yasin:

“Whoever follows Surah Yasin, Allah gives him a reward equal to the recitation of the entire Qur’an.”

No explanation is needed in the hadith, reading Surah Yasin is like reading the entire Quran. This reward gives you more than you can imagine. Therefore read Surah Yasin daily, and you will get rewarded.

4- Facilitates Death

If you have lost your loved ones, read Surah Yasin for them. Our Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told about the benefits of reciting Surah Yasin for them and said:

“Count Yasin among those who sift the dust.” – Sunan Abi Dawud

The people we lose need comfort and our help and prayers, reciting Surah Yaseen helps them get the help they need.

5- Solves Our Life Problems

The constant recitation of Surah Yasin helps us and gives us the courage to face our problems and not be afraid of them. We have faith in Allah that we will get out of the difficulty we are facing now and what will happen as long as we have faith, and understand that this is just a test that we will go through with Allah’s help one way or the other. will

6- Meets the Requirements

According to the narrators, our Prophet said that by reciting Surah Yasin our intentions are fulfilled, the hadith is:

“Whoever recites Surah Yasin at the beginning of the day, all his needs for that day will be fulfilled.”

Whenever we need Allah’s help, we should turn to the Qur’an, ask Allah for help, and fulfill our desires. God is not ashamed to show us our weakness. Shame we have Allah and we choose to ask for human help. No one but Allah can help us achieve our dreams and fulfill our desires. And this is what you must believe; Even if you think what you want is impossible. Allah will always be there for us and give us what we want.

7- Accomplishment of Desires

One of the Meccan Surahs is Surah Yasin which has 83 verses. Surah Yasin has a profound effect on the soul, and as Allah Almighty says in the Holy Book of the Qur’an: “We reveal in the Qur’an that which is a healing and a mercy for the believers, and for the wrongdoers.” Nothing but loss after loss.

In the previous verse, Allah told us that one of the benefits of reading the Qur’an is that it brings Allah’s mercy upon us and heals our souls from the sins we commit.

And as the Prophet taught us, some surahs of the Qur’an are meant to heal our souls and hearts from our sins. This is the main purpose of reading these Surahs. A great example of these Surahs is Surah Yasin.

One of the benefits of reciting Surah Yaseen every day is the fulfillment of our desires. As the Prophet, Muhammad, said, “Whoever recites Surah Yasin in the morning, Allah will be responsible for fulfilling all his needs.”

In Surah Al-Bilad, Allah Almighty says: “Indeed, We have created man in hardship.”

Life is not easy and we will always face obstacles and difficulties, recitation of the Quran and faith remind us that life is a test. Allah did not make us to do anything but enjoy life, Allah wants us to ask for help.

We will get that help when we recite Surah Yasin every morning, always believing in Allah and not letting anything stand in the way or make us doubt whether Allah will fulfill our wishes or not. The key to achieving your desire is to always have faith in Allah.
